Acer Aspire 7 lauched in Nepal with Intel Core processor and RTX 3050 graphics!

Acer has brought its refreshed Aspire 7 Gaming Laptop (A715-59G-76RM) to Nepal, and this time it comes with Intel's newer Core 7 240H processor along with NVIDIA's RTX 3050 graphics. Acer Aspire 7 Overview

Design and Display

On the display side, you get a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS panel with a fast 144Hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC color coverage, and 300 nits of brightness. It's an anti-glare, non-touch panel, so nothing fancy in terms of resolution or color coverage, but the 144Hz refresh rate should keep things pretty smooth.

Performance

For performance, the Aspire 7 is powered by Intel's Core 7 240H processor. It's a 10-core chip (6 Performance + 4 Efficient cores) with a boost clock of up to 5.2GHz. This CPU is more than enough for everyday multitasking, along with moderately demanding games and applications.

On the graphics side, it comes with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3050 with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM, a 1500MHz boost clock, and a 60W TGP. Do note that with a 60W TGP, don't expect this to be a heavy gaming machine.

RAM, Storage, and Ports

For memory, the Aspire 7 comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600MT/s. You can also upgrade it to 32GB thanks to the two SO-DIMM slots. Storage is handled by a 512GB SSD, which should be enough for most users.

As for connectivity, Acer has included a good selection of ports. You get two USB 3.2 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Type-A port, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, HDMI 2.1, an RJ-45 Ethernet port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and even a microSD card reader. For wireless connectivity, there's Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.

Powering the Aspire 7 is a 54Wh battery with a 120W charger. While you shouldn't expect all-day battery life during gaming, it's good enough for everyday work and browsing. 

Other features include an RGB backlit full-size keyboard with a numpad, an HD webcam, stereo speakers, a built-in microphone, and a Kensington lock slot. Acer is also bundling a laptop bag, gaming mouse, and mousepad for free with this model in Nepal.
