Just like the RX 9070, the RX 9070 XT is also powered by AMD's new RDNA 4 architecture. It also features AI-powered FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4), offering machine learning-driven upscaling and frame generation. FSR 4 is exclusive to RDNA 4 GPUs, with support in games that integrate FSR 3.1, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as mentioned in the previously written article.
The GPU is built on a 4nm process, promising improved power efficiency and better performance. Additionally, it includes second-gen AI accelerators and third-gen ray-tracing accelerators for enhanced visuals and AI-based tasks.

The RX 9070 XT can hit a peak clock of 2.97 GHz with a base frequency of 2.4 GHz. It's got a plentiful 16GB of VRAM with a 256-bit bus providing a maximum theoretical bandwidth of 640 GB/s.
