Itel has dropped the Super 26 Ultra, a new phone with a big screen and battery at an affordable price. Itel is popular in developing countries, especially India and Nepal, and mostly competes with brands like Tecno and budget options from Xiaomi. Recently, they launched the Itel Zeno 20, which was similarly priced, and the last phone to officially make it to Nepal was the Itel A80 in April. Design and Display
One amazing thing about this phone is its display, but at such a low price, the phone has a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness. There’s an integrated optical fingerprint scanner, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and IP65 water and dust resistance. 144Hz refresh rate and such high brightness in budget phones are completely unheard of, as you will only find this in gaming phones that start off more at midrange.
Performance
But despite featuring such a gaming-tier display, the phone sadly only runs on the Unisoc T7300 4G chipset with 8GB RAM. Truth to be told, the GPU on this processor is really weak and isn't capable of hard gaming. Similarly, Storage comes in 128GB and 256GB options.
Camera
Talking about optics, on the back, there’s a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera. Cameras are functional, but these are very basic sensors, which is also typical in phones like this, and hence we can't expect everything as well.

Battery and Charging
The standout feature is the 6,000mAh battery. One thing that’s improved across the smartphone market is battery size—most companies now provide 6,000–7,000mAh batteries, except a few like Motorola, Samsung, Google, and Apple. Charging is capped at 18W, which is decent for a full day of use. It runs ItelOS 15.1.2 based on Android 15, keeping the interface simple and responsive.
