Lenovo has updated its IdeaPad lineup with a fresh new IdeaPad Slim 5. This laptop series comes in 14 and 16 inches and is known for being good for both casuals and professionals. As I already said, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 comes in two sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch. The 14-inch model features a WUXGA OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, anti-glare, 45% NTSC color gamut, and a peak brightness of 300 nits. Likewise, the 16-inch model comes in two display options. The WUXGA IPS screen is available in touch and non-touch versions, with a 60Hz refresh rate, an anti-glare panel with color coverage ranging from 45% NTSC to 100% sRGB, and 300 nits peak brightness. On the other hand, the 2.8K OLED screen comes with the non-touch option, 120Hz refresh rate, anti-glare, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 500 nits peak brightness.

Performance and Memory
Under the hood, the IdeaPad Slim 5 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 240H, which offers up to 5.2GHz of peak performance. At the graphics end, the laptop is equipped with Intel Graphics. You can get up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage, providing plenty of space for multitasking and storing your files.
Battery and Connectivity
For power, the laptop has a 60Wh 3-cell Li-Polymer battery, which is paired with a 65W USB-C adapter. For connectivity, the IdeaPad Slim 5 supports Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 (2x2 BE). Additionally, it offers several ports, including two USB-C ports with power delivery and one USB-A 3.2 always-on port, one HDMI 1.4b port, and one combo jack. Additional features include a 1080p FHD IR Hybrid webcam, dual microphones, and a backlit keyboard. On the software side, it runs on Windows 11.
