Oppo has rolled out the Reno 15 Pro Max and Reno 15 Pro for global markets, starting with Taiwan. The Reno 15 Pro Max and Reno 15 Pro sit at the top of Oppo’s Reno 15 series. Alongside them, the lineup also includes the standard Reno 15 and Reno 15F. It doesn't have a considerable amount of changes from last year, but things like the camera have seen some changes. Let's dive into this article, where I will discuss everything about the latest Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max and Reno 15 Pro, including their prices in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max and Reno 15 Pro Overview
Display and Design
This is one area where things have clearly changed for the Reno 15 Pro. Last year’s Reno 14 Pro used a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a higher resolution. The Reno 15 Pro now comes with a much smaller 6.32-inch AMOLED display, while the Pro Max lands at 6.78 inches. Both support Full HD Plus resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
So compared to the Reno 14 Pro, resolution and display features take a step back, unless you prefer a smaller phone in hand. The build quality also stays familiar, with IP68 and IP69 ratings still present.
Performance and Software
Unfortunately, there’s no real shift here. Oppo continues with the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which is paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. If you were expecting a performance bump over the Reno 14 Pro, it’s not here.
On the software side, the phones ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. That’s a one-generation update over last year, which is expected at this point.

Camera and Battery
The biggest change from the Reno 14 Pro is the main camera. Oppo moves from a 50MP sensor to a 200MP main camera on both the Reno 15 Pro and Pro Max. The rest of the setup stays almost the same, with a 50MP periscope camera offering 3.5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The 50MP autofocus selfie camera also carries over.
The battery capacity also do not see much change. The Reno 15 Pro keeps the same 6,200mAh size as the Reno 14 Pro, but wireless charging is no longer mentioned. The Pro Max does gets a slight bump to 6,500mAh and keeps both wired and wireless charging.
