Design and display

Starting with the design, the Tecno Camon Slim has a slim and lightweight design, measuring 162.8 × 77.7 × 6.4mm and weighing around 162g to 168g. It has a relatively thin profile for a phone with a 5,600mAh battery, making it easier to carry and handle during everyday use. The phone also comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.

On the front, the CAMON Slim features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a 1.5K resolution of 1224 × 2720 pixels, which should provide sharper visuals than a standard Full HD+ panel. The high refresh rate also makes scrolling and animations feel smoother, while the AMOLED panel offers deeper blacks and better contrast.

Performance and software

In terms of performance, the Tecno Camon Slim is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate chipset, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It should be able to handle everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, streaming, and switching between apps without much trouble.

For storage, the phone comes with up to 256GB of internal storage. On the software side, it runs TECNO’s HiOS based on Android, bringing the company’s own interface and additional features on top of the standard Android experience.

Camera and battery

For photography, the Tecno Camon Slim comes with a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera. The main camera supports video recording, while the front camera will be suitable for selfies and video calls.

The phone packs a 5,600mAh battery and supports 60W wired fast charging. The large battery, combined with the fast-charging support, should provide enough power for a full day of typical use while allowing you to top up the phone relatively quickly when needed.
