Realme C100x launched in Nepal with 8,000mAh battery and 45W charging!

Realme has expanded its C-series lineup in Nepal with the new C100x. The phone takes a straightforward approach to the budget segment, focusing on everyday usability while putting extra attention on durability and long-lasting use. It is aimed at users who want a dependable phone for daily tasks without spending too much.

With the C100x, Realme has also introduced some of its newer design and software touches to the entry-level segment. Let’s take a closer look at what the phone brings, along with its specifications, price, and availability in Nepal.

Realme C100x Overview

Design and Durability

The Realme C100x has a fairly straightforward budget-phone design, but Realme has added a few touches to make it stand out. It comes in Golden Coast and Deepblue Tides color options and features a raised, pill-shaped camera module on the rear.

The phone also has a pulse light beside the camera module. It supports nine colors and five breathing effects, while also responding to notifications, incoming calls, music, and the camera countdown.

Durability is another major focus here. The C100x comes with ArmorShell protection, along with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It is also rated for drops from up to 2 meters and carries MIL-STD-810H certification. The phone measures 166.5 x 78.2 x 8.6mm and weighs 219 grams.

Display

The C100x sports a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and general navigation feel smoother than the standard 60Hz panels commonly found on budget phones.

The display reaches up to 900 nits in HBM, while the 120Hz touch sampling rate should help with responsiveness. There is also a Rain Touch mode designed to improve touch accuracy when the screen is wet.

However, the HD+ resolution on a 6.8-inch panel means the pixel density is around 254ppi, so the display does not offer the same level of sharpness as higher-resolution panels.

Performance and Software

Powering the Realme C100x is the Unisoc T7250, a 12nm octa-core chipset paired with an Arm Mali-G57 GPU. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in the Nepal configuration, with support for storage expansion through a microSD card.

This is not a performance-focused phone, but the T7250 should be adequate for everyday tasks such as social media, messaging, browsing, and casual gaming.

On the software side, the C100x runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7. It also supports features such as virtual RAM expansion.

Camera

For photography, the Realme C100x features a 50MP AI primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. It is accompanied by an auxiliary sensor, while the rear camera can record videos at up to 1080p at 30fps.

Up front, there is a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It supports 720p video recording at 30fps.

The camera setup is fairly typical for this segment, with the 50MP main sensor being the main highlight rather than a versatile multi-camera system.

Battery and Charging

The biggest highlight of the Realme C100x is undoubtedly its battery. It packs an 8,000mAh battery, which is considerably larger than what you normally get in budget smartphones.

Realme claims the battery can provide more than 17 hours of navigation and over 13 hours of gaming on a full charge under its lab testing conditions. Naturally, real-world endurance will vary depending on usage.

Despite the large battery, the phone supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, so topping up the C100x should not take as long as you might expect from an 8,000mAh cell. The phone also supports reverse wired charging.
