Triple Driver Setup
The Redmi Buds 6 Pro features a triple-driver system. It includes a 6.7 mm piezoelectric ceramic dual driver and an 11 mm titanium-coated dynamic driver. Xiaomi claims this configuration delivers balanced audio performance, covering treble, midrange, and bass frequencies.
Audio Features
The earbuds support spatial audio, MIHC, LDHC 5.0, and LC3 audio codecs. Additionally, they feature Deep Space Noise Reduction 2.0, which provides up to 55dB of noise reduction. A 3-mic AI ENC system minimizes wind noise during calls, reportedly handling wind speeds of up to 12m/s.
Battery Life and Charging
The earbuds promise up to 36 hours of total playback time. They also support fast charging, offering up to 2 hours of usage with just 5 minutes of charging.
Gaming Edition Features
Xiaomi also introduced a Gaming Edition of the Redmi Buds 6 Pro. It includes low-latency flash connector 2.0 and offers ultra-low latency of 20ms. Furthermore, it supports high-fidelity LHDC Lossless audio codec and introduces Xiaomi’s first wireless microphone feature with a maximum transmission range of 130 meters. This edition comes with 67W fast charging.
