AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D are now available in Nepal

There are a lot of interesting things going on at CES 2025, and AMD’s unveiling of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D alongside the 9900X3D CPUs was definitely one of the major highlights. These new CPUs boast Zen 5 cores, have higher clocks, and can draw much more power but the former is particularly special as it is officially the best consumer CPU you can get for your PC for now! CPU Cores and Clocks

The Ryzen 9950X3D is the successor to the Ryzen 9 7950X3D launched back in 2023. It’s the company’s flagship offering for gamers and ships with 16 cores Zen 5 cores and 32 threads in total. The base clock gets a 100MHz boost to 4.3GHz while the boost clock remains the same as previously at 4.7GHz. Improvements and Competition

According to the brand, the new chip performed about 8% better on a 40-game average at 1080p than its predecessor: the Ryzen 9 7950X3D. On the same benchmark, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D beat Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K with a substantial 20% lead. Lastly against its own gaming-oriented Ryzen 7 9800X3D announced just a while ago, the new chip performs neck and neck but without any noticeable boost in performance. So, if all you want is the best of the best gaming chip, then saving a few bucks and going for the 9800X3D is still the pro-gamer move. In content creator workflows like Photoshop and Premiere Pro, the new Ryzen 9950X3D is about 13% faster than its predecessor and about 10% faster than the Core Ultra 285K, according to AMD, based on a 20-app average.
