The Ultima Boost 20K Ultra Max features an aluminum body, which is a sleek, rugged, and durable power bank with 12 layers of IC protection. Similarly, the Ultima Boost 20K Mini features a small, electroplated-textured compact body made up of ABS Hard Plastic that fits easily in a pocket. The power bank even comes with a braided built-in cable (Type-C and Lightning) so you don’t have to carry a separate cable. However, the cable is exclusive to the mini version.

      Power Output and Battery

Both the power banks feature a 20,000 mAh tank. The main difference between these two is that the Ultra Max supports a total output speed of 100W, whereas the Mini delivers up to 22.5W. You can also charge laptops using the 100W power bank. Additionally, they support multiple charging protocols, including QC 3.0, VOOC, PD, WARP, SFS, and PPS.

To charge the power banks, Ultima recommends using a 20W PD charger. Nevertheless, you can charge the Ultima Boost 20K Ultra Max with a 65W PD charger. According to Ultima, the mini takes around 3 to 4 hours to fully charge using an 18W PD charger, while the Ultra Max takes around 10 hours. When using a 65W PD charger, the Ultra Max fully charges in around 6.5 hours.

      Ports

The Ultima Boost 20K Ultra Max and Mini can charge three devices simultaneously. The Mini has two built-in cables, a Type-C and a Lightning, as well as an extra Type-C port. Whereas the Ultra Max has two Type-C ports and a Type-A port.
