Vivo Y500 Pro Overview
Design and Display
First and foremost, the design is something that the Y500 Pro should get praise for. You get an X-Series phone like looks here with a circular camera module and colors. Vivo hasn't compromised on the ingress protection side, either, providing it with an IP68 and IP69 rating. On top of that, it is also more drop-resistant and secures national standard reliability certification.
Performance
Under the hood, running the chores is a Dimensity 7400 SoC. This 4nm fabbed 5G processor is a slightly improved version of the Dimensity 7300, albeit both have the same cores. Vivo has paired the chip with 8/12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. On the software side, the phone boots on OriginOS 6 built on top of Android 16.
Camera and Battery
Talking of the optics, things are not that impressive. One might mistake it for having multiple cameras, but it only boasts a 200MP single camera, while the other lens is a useless sensor. Anyways, that 200MP sensor boasts an aperture of f/1.9 with 1./1.56-inch sensor size and OIS. Up front, there is a 32MP selfie snapper.- Also Read:
