Expanding its premium numbered series, Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 17 Max, positioned right below the ultra-premium Xiaomi 17 Ultra (review). The phone features a massive 6.9-inch display, a powerful 200MP main camera, and a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Xiaomi 17 Max has a sleek, clean, and premium aesthetic featuring ultra-thin, symmetrical bezels and rounded corners. Moving away from the circular camera deco found on the 17 Ultra models, the 17 Max features a “squircle” (rounded rectangular) camera island to house its Leica-tuned triple camera setup.
