At one point in time, it seemed as if watches were going to be the things of the past. But thanks to the integration of health-tracking benefits and more in the watches, they experienced quite a resurgence. Here in this article, we will be discussing the best smartwatch under 30000 in Nepal, their offerings in brief, and ranking them.
How to find the best smartwatch under 30000 in Nepal?
Smartwatches have taken off in popularity in recent times. With the rise in demand for smartwatches, we can say that they have gained massive popularity here in Nepal as well. It is even more evident with the availability of "smartwatches" in the market. From regular watches posing as smartwatches to cheap, gimmicky watches with cameras and whatnot, a lot is going on. Even though you can separate these "smartwatches" from the real deal, choosing an actual smartwatch can be quite confusing in itself.
In the meantime, the availability of choices ranging from super budget-friendly options to top-of-the-line premium options doesn't help either. On one hand, you could take a budget-friendly approach and compromise on a lot. On the other hand, you could go with the best offerings from Apple or Samsung. While that would be great, it wouldn't come cheap. So, what gives? How much should you invest in a smartwatch? Well, we'd say there is a sweet spot right around the price range of NPR 30,000. Here, you will get a much better experience and functionality than the budget options, with the bonus of not putting a gaping hole in your finances.
Best smartwatches under NPR 30000 in Nepal:
4. Samsung Galaxy Watch FE
We’re kicking off our list of best smartwatches under NPR 30000 in Nepal with the Galaxy Watch FE. Now—normally—this thing goes for a little over thirty-five thousand rupees, but since it’s available for just 22,000 rupees these days, the Watch FE rightly found its way here. So, in case you didn’t know, this is the very first (and so far the only) Fan Edition “FE” smartwatch Samsung has launched. But what you need to know is that this guy is simply a rebrand of the Galaxy Watch 4 from back in 2021, with a slightly redesigned strap and better durability.

That means it has the same circular design with thick bezels all around, a couple of buttons on the side for navigation, the same (slightly sluggish) Exynos W920 chip, and therefore the same suite of health and fitness tracking features as well. The good news is that despite technically being a nearly five-year-old product, Samsung has already updated it to Wear OS 6-based One UI Watch 8.0 software. Which brings a fresh visual redesign, alongside my favorite UI element of any smartwatch: stackable widgets.
As far as health and fitness tracking features go, you can check out my full review of the Galaxy Watch 4 series for all the details, but the TLDR is that the Watch FE is great at keeping track of your overall health. From heart rate, stress, sleep, SpO2, to even more complex measurements like body composition analysis, it can do ‘em all quite reliably. But since it’s a Wear OS smartwatch (that too of a small 40mm case), don’t expect more than a day and a half’s worth of usage on a single charge under moderate usage.
Samsung Galaxy Watch FE Specifications:
- Dimensions and build: 39.3 x 40.4 x 9.8 mm, aluminum frame, silicone strap
- Color options: Black, Pink Gold, Silver
- Durability: 5 ATM water resistance, IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810H certified
- Display: 1.2-inch AMOLED, 396 x 396 pixels resolution, 1000 nits peak brightness, Sapphire crystal glass
- Processor: Exynos W920 (5nm)
- Memory: 1.5GB RAM, 16GB in-built memory
- Software and UI: Wear OS 6 with Samsung’s One UI Watch 8 on top
- Sensors: Samsung BioActive Sensor (Optical Bio-signal + Electrical heart rate + Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis), Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro, Geomagnetic, Light
- Companion app:
- Setup: Galaxy Wearable, Galaxy Watch Plugin
- Health data: Samsung Health
- Battery: 247 mAh (approx. 1.5 days under moderate usage)
- Samsung Galaxy Watch FE Price in Nepal: NPR 21,999
3. Huawei Watch Fit 5
Next up is the newly launched Huawei Watch Fit 5. It sits a step below Huawei’s more premium “Watch GT” series—and if all you care about is fitness tracking—then I really think this is one of the best smartwatches under NPR 30000 in Nepal right now. The Watch Fit 5 has an Apple Watch-inspired design with a squarish case, a rotating crown, and a shortcut button to launch workouts on the right side of the frame. It’s also quite lightweight at just 27 grams, while it is also IP6X dustsealed and 5 ATM water resistant.

Anyway, the Watch Fit 5 can track 100+ workouts, automatically detect three of them (walking, running, and outdoor cycling), while I absolutely love how Huawei also keeps track of my emotional health throughout the day. This smartwatch even has dual-band navigation, which means if you’re outdoors a lot, the Watch Fit 5 will be able to pinpoint your workout location with a lot more accuracy compared to regular smartwatches with single-band GPS.
On top of all this, the Watch Fit 5 should appeal to you even more if you play different ball games like tennis, pickleball—or outdoor activities like cycling—since it has dedicated workout modes for those sports with specific health metrics for each of them. Huawei even motivates you to keep active throughout the day with mini-workouts built right into some watch faces. Other than this, it has a big, bright AMOLED display, a smooth software experience, and up to 10 days of battery life under light use. Which is a lot better than what you get on the Wear OS side of the fence.
Huawei Watch Fit 5 Specifications:
- Dimensions and build: 38.2 x 42.9 x 9.5 mm, aluminum frame, nylon / fluoroelastomer strap
- Color options: Black, White, Silver, Purple, Green
- Durability: 5 ATM water resistance, IP6X dust resistant
- Display: 1.82-inch AMOLED, 480 x 408 pixels resolution, 2500 nits peak brightness, No glass protection
- Processor: Unspecified
- Memory: Unspecified
- Software and UI: HarmonyOS 6.1.0
- Sensors: Accelerometer, Ambient light, Barometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Optical heart rate, Temperature
- Companion app: Huawei Health (Android | iOS)
- Battery: Up to 10 days under light usage
- Huawei Watch Fit 5 Price in Nepal: NPR 27,990
2. Huawei Watch GT 6
The silver medal on our list of best smartwatches in Nepal under NPR 30000 goes to none other than the Huawei Watch GT 6. It technically goes out of our budget by a couple of thousand rupees, but if you’re willing to spend 30K on a brand new smartwatch, and you want something with a classy look, then you might definitely want to check out the Huawei Watch GT 6. This thing comes in two distinct designs: one with a bolder, octagonal dial, while the other one has a sleeker look that should appeal to the ladies more.

I love how Huawei has doubled down on its design by offering a wide variety of strap options for you to choose from as well. Including a basic fluoroelastomer (rubber) strap, a leather strap, and even a luxurious Milanese strap. The Watch GT 6 is just as robust since it has a durable stainless steel casing, alongside a 5 ATM water resistance and an IP69 dust/water resistance.
The Watch GT 6 is a proper battery champ too! Huawei says you can expect a ridiculous 21 days of battery life on the 46mm variant, while even the smaller 41mm model has been rated for up to 14 days of battery life under light usage. So if battery life’s a priority to you, then this should seriously be at the top of your list. The Huawei Watch GT 6 gets all the excellent health and fitness tracking features as the Watch Fit 5 as well (and some more), so this is an excellent smartwatch that can do it all!
Huawei Watch GT 6 Specifications:
- Dimensions and build: Stainless steel frame, fluoroelastomer / leather / Milanese strap
- 41mm: 41.3 x 41.3 x 9.99 mm, 37.5 gm
- 46mm: 46 x 46 x 10.95 mm, 51.3 gm
- Colour options: Black, White, Brown, Gray, Green, Lilac, Gold
- Durability: 5 ATM water resistance, IP69 dust/water resistant
- Display: 1.32 / 1.47-inch AMOLED, 466 x 466 pixels resolution, 3000 nits peak brightness, No glass protection
- Processor: Unspecified
- Memory: Unspecified
- Software and UI: HarmonyOS 6.0.0
- Sensors: Accelerometer, Ambient light, Barometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Optical heart rate, Temperature
- Companion app: Huawei Health (Android | iOS)
- Battery: Up to 14 / 21 days under light usage

1. Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
Finally, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 is currently our top pick on this list of best smartwatches under NPR 30000 in Nepal right now. And right off the bat, if battery life is a top priority when you’re shopping for a smartwatch, you should probably cross this guy off your checklist. Yes, it has quite a power-efficient 3nm chip and a modest battery, but since the Galaxy Watch 7 runs on Wear OS, don’t expect more than a couple of days of battery life here.

But of course, you’re rewarded with a rich software experience by sacrificing the battery side of things. Samsung has already updated it to the latest Wear OS 6-based One UI Watch 8.0, while the Galaxy Watch 7 has at least two more years of updates to its name as well. And compared to Huawei’s HarmonyOS, you can expect to do a lot more here. From installing all your favorite apps from the Play Store—like Gmail, Maps, Spotify, and WhatsApp—to even downloading third-party watch faces, this smartwatch is a lot “smarter” than most.
The biggest talking point of the Galaxy Watch 7 is perhaps its performance ‘cause Samsung finally upgraded to a much more powerful processor here. Its Exynos W1000 chip feels so smooth and so snappy, while Samsung has bumped the internal storage from 16GB to 32GB as well. And of course, it probably goes without saying that the health and fitness tracking experience is one of the best you can get on this flagship Samsung smartwatch. The Galaxy Watch 7 gets updated health sensors, alongside a handful of new tricks like AGEs Index for your metabolic health—and also a dual-band GPS.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Specifications:
- Dimensions and build: Stainless steel frame, silicone strap
- 40mm: 40.4 x 40.4 x 9.7 mm, 28.8 gm
- 44mm: 44.4 x 44.4 x 9.7 mm, 33.8 gm
- Color options: Silver, Green, Cream
- Durability: 5 ATM water resistance, IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810H certified
- Display: Sapphire crystal glass, 2000 nits peak brightness
- 40mm: 1.3-inch AMOLED, 432 x 432 pixels resolution
- 44mm: 1.5-inch AMOLED, 480 x 480 pixels resolution
- Processor: Exynos W1000 (3nm)
- Memory: 2GB RAM, 32GB in-built memory

- Battery: 300 / 425 mAh (approx. 2.5 days under moderate usage)
