So the question now becomes, is the Phone (4a) Pro still a good value?

After the success of the Phone (4a), CG Mobiles officially unveiled the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro in Nepal back in April. The Pro model brings a major design overhaul, including the new Glyph Matrix, the power of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, although it has now gotten slightly more expensive as well. So, in this article, we’ll go through everything you need to know about the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, including its specs, features, latest official price in Nepal, and whether it is worth buying or not.
Nothing Phone (4a) Pro Overview:
The Glyph Matrix
One of the first things to notice is the inclusion of the Glyph Matrix on the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. This circular interface replaced the most-liked Glyph lights on the Phone (3), and it's here now as well. It covers over 57% more area and is twice as bright at approximately 3000 nits, providing sharper, more detailed notifications, according to the company. Glyph Toys like Battery, Timer, Digital Clock, Solar Path, and Glyph Mirror are supported, including integration into the Glyph Matrix AOD experience.

Likewise, the transparent design of the Phone (3a) Pro has also bid farewell, and this new model adopts a flat look below, while the camera module stands out, reflecting Nothing's vibe of a different design approach than the rest of the pack in the market. The build is also pretty solid, thanks to the aluminum frame.
Display
The next upgrade is on the display side. You get a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 30-144Hz. It gets 2160Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+, 10-bit color, 5000 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Performance
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm TSMC process. It features 1 core Kryo Prime (Cortex-720) at 2800 MHz, 4 cores Kryo Gold (Cortex-720) at 2400 MHz, and 3 cores Kryo Silver (Cortex-520) at 1840 MHz. The chipset is paired with 8/12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, allowing faster app loading than before. Likewise, it boots on NothingOS 4.1 out of the box with Android 16.

Camera, Battery, and Others
In terms of the camera, the Phone (4a) Pro rocks a triple-camera setup. It is hailed by a 50MP Sony LYT 700C main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto with 3.5X optical zoom, and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera. Except for the main camera, the other two units plus the 32MP front camera are the same on both the Phone (4a) Pro and the vanilla Phone (4a). But the ISP of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 will give the Pro sibling an edge.

Likewise, the phone gets its fuel from a 5400mAh Lithium-ion cell. While the rest of the world is getting a 5,080mAh battery. It supports 50W fast charging. Moreover, connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port.
Should you buy the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro in Nepal?
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is one of the best premium mid-range phones that you can buy right now. It offers a really premium design with a metal frame and metal back, a super bright AMOLED screen, and reliable day-to-day performance thanks to the optimized Nothing OS software.
You also get commendable camera performance here. Especially, the 3.5x telephoto lens allows you to capture some stunning portraits. The photos in general are also decent, and the battery life is really nice as well.
That said, since it's now priced so close to the Nothing Phone (3), I feel like you should spend a couple of thousand more on that guy instead. Since the Phone (3) gives you better performance, better durability, and better cameras.
| Pros | Cons |
| Excellent premium design and unique looks | Not the best value for money |
| Great AMOLED screen | The gaming performance could've been better |
| Optimized software experience | No charger inside the box |
