Performance and Battery

Under the hood, the Oppo A6 is powered by the Snapdragon 685 4G chipset. It features 4 cores Cortex-A73 at 2800 MHz and 4 cores Cortex-A53 at 1900 MHz. This is a 4-year-old chip that can do basic tasks like social media and light games well. But it is not intended for 60 fps gaming or high performance. CMF Phone 2 Pro, at the same price point, offers a much better performance with the Dimensity 7300 SoC.

Interestingly, there is a VC cooling system, which will keep this guy cool, although the chip itself is not performance-centric.  Oppo has paired the chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the phone boots into ColorOS 15, built on Android 15.

However, I wish Oppo had included a more powerful chip for the price; the Snapdragon 685 will suffice for moderate users who don't need to play games like PUBG at 60 fps. But anyone wanting a faster performance can opt for phones like the CMF Phone 2 Pro in the same price bracket. Lastly, the 7000mAh battery is impressive, providing around two days of battery life with moderate use.
