Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G Overview

      Display and Design

Redmi Note 15 Pro Price in Nepal

The Note 15 Pro 5G brings a 6.83-inch AMOLED CrystalRes display, which is slightly larger than the 6.67-inch display on last year's Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (review). It boasts 3,200 nits of peak brightness, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate to save power, 12bit color depth, and a high-frequency PWM dimming.

The build quality of the Note 15 Pro 5G here also looks solid with Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and an official IP68 + IP69K rating. And apparently, they've also tested this thing for 50 drops from 2 meters onto granite.

      Performance and Software

The global version is also getting MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip, which is the same processor we find in something like the Infinix GT 30. You can get it with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, paired with 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. However, the chipset is indeed a minor upgrade/iterative one from last year's 7300 Ultra.

      Camera and Battery

As for the optics, the Chinese unit got a 50MP main camera with Sony's LYT-600 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro that's perhaps not worth much. The front camera bumps up to 20MP. Whereas the global variant has gone big at least in terms of resolution, with a 200MP main sensor. Meanwhile, the selfie and the ultrawide cameras stay the same at 20MP and 8MP, respectively.

Unfortunately, the 7,000 mAh battery isn't making its way to the global market. The global version gets the 6,580mAh battery instead, and charging at topping out of 45W, which isn't the fastest around.

      Software and Features

In terms of software, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. All the usual Xiaomi features are there – Game Turbo, dual apps, second space, and AI camera modes. The fingerprint scanner is side-mounted, and you get stereo speakers but no headphone jack.
