Xiaomi 17T Pro goes official with Leica-tuned cameras and flagship Dimensity 9500 chip

Xiaomi has launched the 17T Pro, alongside the vanilla Xiaomi 17T in the global market. This is Xiaomi's top-of-the-line premium midrange phone for 2026, sitting right below the regular Xiaomi 17 series. As such, it comes with a powerful Dimensity 9500 chip, a large 7000mAh battery, and Leica-optimized cameras. So in this article, I will explain all the details, including the expected Xiaomi 17T Pro price in Nepal, specifications, and availability. 

Xiaomi 17T Pro Overview

Display and Design

Starting with the display, the Xiaomi 17T Pro features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED panel offering 1.5K resolution and a fast 144Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 3500-nit peak brightness when used in direct sunlight, while it can even get as dim as 1 nit under low light conditions.

It also comes with DC dimming and TUV Rheinland's quadruple Eye Care certification for the most comfortable viewing experience.

In terms of build, the phone features a metallic look with ultra-slim symmetrical bezels, offering a comfortable feel. It has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and is available in Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black color options.

Performance and Software

Regarding performance, the Xiaomi17T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC paired with the G1-Ultra GPU. The phone is configured with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

In terms of software, the Xiaomi 17T Pro runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0, based on Android 16. You can also expect up to 4 major Android upgrades with 6 years of security updates in this device. It also has AirDrop support to share files with Apple devices like iPhone, iPad, and MacBook.

Camera and Battery

On the optics front, the Xiaomi 17T Pro has a Leica-tuned triple-camera setup, where you get a 50MP Light Fusion 950 main sensor, alongside a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view, and finally a 50MP periscope telephoto camera capable of taking 5x optical zoom shots.

 Both the main and telephoto cameras have OIS, and Xiaomi says all three rear cameras are inspired by classic Leica Summilux lenses. Up front, there is a 32MP selfie camera, which unfortunately doesn't have any Leica optimization.

Moving on to the battery, the Xiaomi 17T Pro packs a large 7000mAh cell. It supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging for quick top-up. Likewise, this phone has Xiaomi's 3D IceLoop System for improved thermal conductivity as well.
