Dell 15 (2025) is now available in Nepal with both Intel and AMD CPUs!

Dell recently renamed and reclassified its laptop lines into three main categories, i.e, Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max, replacing the older names for XPS, Inspiron, Latitude, and other lineups. Now, finally, we get the Dell 15 2025 with both Intel's 13th Gen processor and AMD Ryzen 7000 Series available in Nepal. So, without further ado, let's take a deeper look at the features, specifications, and price in Nepal of the Dell 15 2025.

Design and Display

Moving toward design, the Dell 15 features a standard functional design, with options for Carbon Black plastic or Platium Sliver aluminum colors. Similarly, the laptop has a dimension of 358.50 x 235.56 x 16.96 - 18.99 mm and weighs 1.90 kg, which isn't even that heavy compared to many 15.6-inch displays. 

For the display, all three variants come with a 15.6-inch IPS FHD display with an older 16:9 aspect ratio. Adding more on display, it comes with 250 nits of typical brightness and around 45% NTSC color coverage. One highlight of this panel is its 120Hz refresh rate, which is quite rare at this price point. Most laptops still feature the same old 60Hz refresh rate, even at a much higher price point. But 250 nits and 45% NTSC color gamut is simply not good enough if you are serious about doing creative stuff in your laptop. Still, it can work well indoors for normal media consumption. 

Performance and Memory

Where the three models differ is under the hood. The base DC15250 gets an Intel Core 3 100U processor with 6 cores and 8 threads and a max turbo of 4.7 GHz. Moving up, the DC15255 is offered in two variants — the AMD Ryzen 5 7530U with 6 cores and 12 threads and a max boost of 4.5 GHz, and the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U with 8 cores and 16 threads, also boosting up to 4.5 GHz. 

For graphics tasks, all three rely on integrated GPUs — Intel UHD Graphics on the Core 3 model and AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 on both Ryzen variants. Each of these processors is capable of performing basic to mid-level tasks without any issues. But the Ryzen 7 7730U, with its justified price tag, has the edge on the other two CPUS. 

On the memory front, the Intel Core 3 100U model lags behind other variants in terms of memory speed, as it ships with 8GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2666 MT/s, while both Ryzen variants come with 16GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3200 MT/s. All three models include a 512GB Gen4 NVMe SSD for storage.

Connectivity and Battery

Talking about connectivity, the Dell 15 (2025) supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity, while the physical connectivity includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI 1.4 port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Similarly, all of them come with a 41 Wh battery and a 65W charger in the box.

Should you buy the Dell 15 (2025) in Nepal?

The Dell 15 (2025) is a decent laptop that punches above its weight with a 120Hz display, which is very rare at this price range in Nepal. The Ryzen 5 7530U variant is the sweet spot of the lineup, whereas if you are on a tighter budget, the Intel Core 3 100U variant still gets the job done for basic use, while the Ryzen 7 7730U is totally worth the premium if you are looking for a more powerful. However, the 250 nits brightness and small 41 Wh battery remain the main drawbacks.
