 The Honor Pad V9 comes with a sleek all-metal unibody design. The device measures just 6.1mm in thickness and weighs around 475 g, making it highly portable. On the front, we get a huge 11.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1840 pixels, a crazy fast 144Hz refresh rate, and 500-nit peak brightness, making it well-suited for daily tasks and media consumption. The Honor Pad V9 comes only in a single Gray color option in Nepal. 

Under the hood, the Honor Pad V9 ships with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Elite SoC built on a 4nm node, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You can expect good gaming and everyday performance with this chip.

Battery and Charging

The tablet features a large 10,100mAh battery with 35W fast charging support, ensuring longer battery life and faster charging. Honor even claims 80 days of ultra-long standby time.

Audio

The Honor Pad V9 includes an eight-speaker setup, with support for Spatial Audio, Hi-Res Audio, and DTS:X for enhanced sound quality. Meanwhile, the Magic Pencil 3 stylus and Smart Keyboard are available separately.

Camera and Extra

For photography, the tablet has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, which should be enough for meetings or scanning documents. It runs on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15. 

Honor Pad V9 Vs Xiaomi Pad 8 

I think the Honor Pad V9 is a better value-for-money tablet than the bestseller Xiaomi Pad 8. Why? First, let's talk about the display experience. The display is noticeably brighter and the quad-speaker setup here sounds excellent. In my experience, the speakers are better than what you get on the Xiaomi Pad 8.

The second big advantage is what's included in the box. At roughly the same price,, you get this keyboard cover, which works as both a protective cover and a keyboard. And that's not all. You also get the Honor Pencil included, which is something you don't get with the Xiaomi Pad 8 at this price point. 

Now, when it comes to performance, the Honor Pad V9 is not quite as performance-focused as the Xiaomi Pad 8. But honestly, for a tablet, the Dimensity 8350 is more than powerful enough for everyday use. The software experience is also much more mature this time around. It comes with Android 16 out of the box, and the new MagicOS 10 feels fluid and polished.

You get desktop mode, standard tablet mode, and a lot of multitasking features. There are multiple layout options, and you can even run up to four apps simultaneously on the screen. 

So overall, if you're looking for the best value tablet with a great display, excellent speakers, long battery life, a keyboard, and a stylus included, I genuinely think the Honor Pad V9 is the better value-for-money option in Nepal right now. However, if your top priority is raw performance and gaming, then the Xiaomi Pad 8 still has the edge.
