Honor has expanded its budget X-series lineup with the Honor X7e Plus. It is an upgraded sibling of the standard X7e model. The new phone brings several upgrades to the lineup, including a massive 8,100mAh battery, an IP69K rating, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, and more. Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Honor X7e Plus carries a similar design language to the standard X7e, featuring a vertically oriented camera module on the back. Due to its larger battery, the phone weighs 216.5 grams and measures 8.3mm in thickness, making it slightly bulkier than its sibling.

It also comes with an IP68, IP69, and IP69K rating and has undergone enhanced durability testing, making it better suited for protection against dust, water, and accidental drops. The phone is available in Vlevet Black, Metero Silver, and Desert Gold color options.

Moving to the front, the Honor X7e Plus features a 6.87-inch TFT LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1592 pixels. While it retains the same 120Hz refresh rate as the standard model, the Plus model comes with a slightly larger display for a more immersive viewing experience. However, the HD+ resolution on such a large panel is a compromise, as text and visuals may not appear as sharp as some competing devices in this price segment.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Honor X7e Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Compared to the Honor X7e, which is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, the Plus model offers a notable performance upgrade. The newer chipset should offer better efficiency for everyday tasks, multitasking, and casual gaming. It also adds 5G connectivity, a feature missing on the previous variant.

On the software side, the Honor X7e Plus runs on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. It also comes with Honor’s AI features, including AI Image to Video 2.0, AI Eraser, AI Recorder, and Magic Portal. These tools add extra convenience for tasks like editing photos, managing recordings, and accessing frequently used functions.

Honor X7e Price in Nepal and Availability

The Honor X7e Plus has been launched in the UAE with a starting price of AED 899 for the 6/128GB variant, while the 8/256GB is priced at AED 1,099. As of now, Honor has not confirmed the availability of the phone in the local market. However, if it makes its way to the Nepali market, we expect the Honor X7e Plus price in Nepal to be around NPR 37,299 for the base model.
