Design and Display

In terms of design, the HP 15 2024 features a clean, minimalist design that comes in either a silver or black plastic chassis that feels both sturdy and well-built. In terms of weight, the device weighs around 1.65 kg, which is quite light compared to other 15.6-inch laptops. Adding more on design, it comes with a full-size keyboard with white backlight.

For display, here you get a 15.6-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution and an anti-glare coating. This display comes with an older 16:9 panel and a standard 60Hz refresh rate with 45% NTSC color gamut. While it's not a color-accurate display meant for professional creative work, it’s more than adequate for browsing, streaming, and office tasks.

Performance

Talking about the performance, the biggest improvement for 2024 is switching to Intel's all-new Intel Core 5 Ultra 125H processor, based on its new Meteor Lake platform. Compared to older Raptor Lake CPUs, this processor provides quite impressive gains in multitasking and responsiveness. As for its GPU, the latest Intel Arc graphics offer some minor improvements in casual gaming and video editing.
