Lenovo has finally brought the all-new (2025) edition of the Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 to Nepal. Here, now we get a taller 16:10 aspect-ratio display, powerful yet efficient processors, and more. Design and Display

Talking about the build, it comes with a solid and lightweight build made from ABS plastic. It also comes with a metal top cover, which improves the overall feel and makes the laptop feel premium to touch. The metal lid houses a Lenovo logo at the center, which makes the design more elegant and cleaner. The device weighs around 1.64 kg and measures around 17.9 mm thick, which is ideal for both students and business owners.

 

 

Talking about the display, it has got a sweet upgrade from the previous generation, as now it comes with a taller 16:10 15.3-inch IPS display compared to the previous 16:9 display. The change brings more vertical screen space, which is a great advantage for productivity. Other than this, it's a basic display with an anti-glare coating, which comes with a 60Hz refresh rate and 45% NTSC color.

Performance and Memory

Inside, we get either an AMD Ryzen 5 8540U/ Ryzen 7 8840HS or an Intel Core 7 210H CPU. All these processors are quite good for day-to-day tasks, but we shouldn’t expect high performance for gaming or video editing. However, we can expect good battery life on AMD processors compared to Intel, as they are quite efficient.

In terms of memory, the laptop ships with 8GB of soldered memory, but we have a single SO-DIMM slot available, which we can use to add up to 16GB of RAM, bringing the total to 24 GB. For storage, it comes with 512GB of NVMe SSD.

Regarding the battery, we get a 60Wh cell that charges via a 65W adapter included in the box. It also supports Lenovo Rapid Charge Boost (2 hours of runtime in a 15-minute charge).
