Lenovo has launched the new (2025) IdeaPad Slim 3i Gen 10 14IRH10/R in Nepal, bringing meaningful upgrades over its predecessors. This time, they went with a taller 16:10 display, along with older 13th Gen Intel processors and refreshed Raptor Lake Intel Core Series 2 CPUs. Talking about the display, Lenovo has given the IdeaPad Slim 3i (2025) a welcome refresh, especially in the display department. One of the biggest upgrades we found in this year's model is the shift from the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio to a taller 16:10 panel. This change provides more vertical screen space, a major plus for productivity tasks. The display has a color accuracy of 45% NTSC and a 60Hz refresh rate, which is decent for budget ultrabooks.

The IdeaPad Slim 3 has a sturdy build and does not feel cheap at all. There’s a metal finish on the lid for an extra-premium touch, while the rest of the body is PC-ABS plastic — capable of resisting stains from everyday wear and tear without carrying any excess weight. The device is also just around 1.37 kg and 17.9mm thick, and slips right into a backpack.

Performance and Memory

Talking about the performance, here we get two different processor generations to choose from, one is the Regular Intel 13 Gen featuring the Intel Core i5-13420H which has a 8 cores (4 performance and 4 efficiency) and 12 threads, running at boost clock of upto 4.6GHz and the higher-end option comes with Core i7-13620H processor, which has 10 cores (6 performance and 4 efficiency) and 16 threads, with boost speeds reaching 4.9GHz. Next, we have the Intel Core Series 2 processor with 210H or 240H, featuring up to 10 cores and 12 threads, perfect for basic-level creative tasks such as editing. 

In terms of memory, the higher-end configuration includes 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 4800 MHz, soldered onto the motherboard. The other variant comes with a dual-channel 16GB setup combining 8GB soldered RAM plus an 8GB SO-DIMM module, allowing expandability up to 24 GB.

Battery and Connectivity 

The IdeaPad Slim 3i’s battery capacity is somewhat underwhelming because of its 50Wh unit. This is below average for laptops in this class and could result in shorter usage times. Although Lenovo's "Rapid Charge Boost" allows quick top-ups. For connectivity, both models feature a good set of port selection which includes 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (supporting Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.2), 1x HDMI 1.4, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack, and an SD card reader covering most everyday needs for external devices, displays, and audio accessories.
