Design
The Redmi Buds 8 sticks with the familiar Redmi vertical box-shaped case, giving it a clean and understated look rather than a flashy one. The earbuds themselves use a semi-in-ear fit, with a single earbud measuring 30.59 x 21.33 x 23.2mm (with the M-sized ear cap) and weighing just 5.0 grams. The whole package, buds and case combined, weighs 44.5 grams. Xiaomi also includes a battery indicator light strip on the case, letting you check the charge level at a glance without needing to open a companion app. The earbuds carry an IP54 rating, so light sweat and splashes shouldn't be a concern during workouts or commutes.
