Forget about powerbanks because this Vivo phone has a 10,200 mAh battery!

But while this mid-range phone impresses with its huge battery, the downgrade in performance and camera raises some serious questions.

Vivo Y600 Pro Price in Nepal

Vivo has added a new member to its Y-series with the launch of the Vivo Y600 Pro in China. The only major upgrade here is in terms of battery capacity, but other than that, there is a major downgrade in its chip and optics that I will discuss later. But now let's discuss the Vivo Y600 Pro in more detail, alongside its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

      Vivo Y600 Pro Overview

      Battery

As I said before, Vivo has taken a massive leap in battery performance with the Vivo Y600 Pro. This phone packs a massive 10,200 mAh Si-C battery, which is 3,200 mAh larger than its predecessor, the Vivo Y500 Pro. The charging speed has remained the same at 90W, while this phone also supports reverse wired charging.

      Design and Display

Moving on, the Vivo Y600 Pro looks pretty much the same as before. With a circular camera island at the back that houses two lenses, with the LED flash module at the top left of the phone. The Y600 Pro weighs around 221 – 223 grams and is up to 8.25mm thick depending on the color variant. This phone has a plastic build overall, with flat sides and curved edges. Whereas Vivo has also secured IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance for this phone.

      Vivo Y600 Pro Display

For display, Vivo opted for a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED panel with 1.5K (1200 x 2800 pixels) resolution and a fast 4,320Hz PWM dimming, which should be quite enough to deliver crisp visuals. The colors on this screen should look quite vibrant since it covers the P3 wide color gamut. Moreover, it should offer pretty good smoothness across social media scrolling and gaming, thanks to its adaptive refresh rate ranging from 60 to 120Hz.

      Performance and Software

As I mentioned earlier, the Vivo Y600 Pro has a few notable downgrades. The first one is its chipset of choice, because compared to the Dimensity 7400 SoC we saw in the Y500 Pro, Vivo has gone with a less powerful Dimensity 7300e (6nm) this time.

       Dimensity 7400Dimensity 7300e
      CPU4x Cortex-A78 (2.6 GHz)4x Cortex-A78 (2.5 GHz)
      4x Cortex-A55 (2.0 GHz)4x Cortex-A55 (2.0 GHz)
      GPUMali-G615 MC2Mali-G610
      AnTuTu 11~ 1 million930,000

It's not a massive downgrade, to be fair, but as you can see from the table above, the Dimensity 7300e clearly isn't as powerful compared to what we got on the Y500 Pro.

Memory-wise, the Vivo Y600 Pro can be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM in dual-channel and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. And on the software front, this phone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Which comes with a completely refreshed visual design over Vivo's previous “Funtouch OS”, while it also has Vivo's “JOVI” as the AI assistant that can complete different tasks on a simple command.

      Camera and Others

The other downgrade this new Vivo Y600 Pro has is in terms of the optics. Because coming from that huge 200MP camera with OIS on its predecessor, it now has a standard 50MP f/1.8 rear sensor. At least it retains the 32MP front-facing camera, so that's something to cheer about. The Y500 Pro's optical image stabilization (OIS) has been replaced by a simple electronic image stabilization (EIS) on this guy, which means its low-light photography has taken a special hit.

      Vivo Y600 Pro Camera

For wireless connectivity, Vivo Y600 Pro supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. It also has a 2D facial recognition feature that supports “Face Wake” for better security, alongside an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
