Starting with the design, the Blackview MEGA 5 features a slim and minimalist design with a flat frame and rounded corners. It measures 276.5 x 190.5 x 7.6mm and weighs 635 grams, making it relatively sleek for a 12.2-inch tablet. For colors, the tablet is available in Space Grey and Ice Blue color options.
Talking about the display, the tablet features a large 12.2-inch IPS display with a 1600 x 2400 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel also supports a fast 120Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, while offering up to 480 nits of typical brightness. Other than this, we also get a 94.2% screen-to-body ratio and AGC glass protection.

Under the hood, the MEGA 5 is powered by the Unisoc T7300 (UMS9360) chipset. It features an octa-core CPU with 2x Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. Do note that the T7300 is designed for smooth everyday use, multimedia, and casual gaming, rather than intensive tasks or demanding gaming. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
