Huawei Pura X View Arrives with a Unique 16:9.5 Display and 7,000mAh Battery!

Huawei has officially unveiled the Pura X View, its new non-folding smartphone featuring an unusually wide 16:9.5 display. The phone follows the design language of the Pura X but brings the wide form factor to a conventional, non-folding body. Huawei has revealed some of its key specifications, while the complete details, pricing, and availability will be announced on August 28. Design and Display

The Huawei Pura X View stands out with its wide display and conventional candybar design. Unlike the Pura X, which uses a foldable form factor, the Pura X View does not fold and instead uses a fixed wide-screen body.

The phone features a 6.39-inch display with a 16:9.5 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2,232 x 1,320 pixels. Huawei claims the panel can reach up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness. It also has a 96.1% screen-to-body ratio with bezels measuring just 1.05mm. The phone is available in Leap Shadow Red, Linen Gray, Zero Degree White, and Phantom Night Black.

Despite its wide form factor and large battery, the phone measures just 6.68mm thick and weighs 201 grams. Huawei has yet to reveal the complete display specifications, including the panel's refresh rate.

Camera and Battery

The Pura X View features a triple-camera setup on the rear, housed inside a horizontal, pill-shaped camera module. Huawei has not yet revealed the complete camera specifications.

The phone is expected to feature three 50MP rear cameras. However, Huawei has not officially confirmed these camera specifications yet.

Another major highlight is its 7,000mAh battery. Despite packing a battery of this size, Huawei has managed to keep the phone relatively thin at 6.68mm. Details regarding its charging technology have not been revealed yet.
