These new charges from OnePlus are super lightweight and travel-friendly.

OnePlus has just launched two new GaN chargers in China. One with up to 100W of output and one with 120W of maximum power delivery. They also have a pretty interesting compact cubical design and foldable pins, making them quite easy to carry around.
OnePlus 100W and 120W GaN Chargers Overview
Compact build
Starting with the design, the 120W OnePlus GaN charger measures about 65 x 33.5 x 33.5 mm and resembles a small square bottle. This charger is compact enough to fit in your pocket and very lightweight, weighing only about 105 grams. And it has two USB Type-C ports.

The 100W OnePlus GaN charger is mostly similar to its 120W sibling. But the only differences you're gonna find are that it is slightly more lightweight at 90 grams, and it's also a bit more compact. Measuring 56 x 33.5 x 33.5 mm. More importantly, this guy has a single Type-C port for power delivery.
With both of them, OnePlus also provides a silicon-coated cable that supports up to 12A. In addition, this cable came with the E-marker chip to efficiently manage power delivery and protect the device from overcurrent and overheating.
Why GaN chargers?
If you are wondering why OnePlus chose GaN instead of traditional silicon semiconductor for these chargers, let me explain. So GaN technology is a more power-efficient alternative to silicon, with better energy density and support for higher voltages. That means the charger itself can be more compact, and it will generate less heat as well.

Power delivery and charging protocols
As the name suggests, 100W and 120W are the maximum power these chargers can deliver. On the 120W charger, both its USB-C ports support 120W PD charging. But interestingly enough, it can technically push up to 125W (80W + 45W) of power if the devices you've connected to support OPPO's SUPERVOOC charging technology.

OnePlus claims that these chargers are compatible with multiple devices that support various fast-charging standards, including SuperVOOC, PD 3.0, PPS, QC 3.0, UFCS, and BC 1.2. That means you can easily charge everything from smartphones, laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices with these chargers.
