Oppo A7 Pro Max launched with a massive 10,000mAh battery and 120Hz AMOLED display!

Oppo has added another phone to its A-series lineup with the launch of the Oppo A7 Pro Max. Unlike some phones that mainly focus on specifications, the A7 Pro Max emphasizes practical features such as a massive 10,000mAh battery, a smooth 120Hz OLED display, and 80W fast charging. In this article, I will discuss this phone in detail, including the expected Oppo A7 Pro Max price in Nepal, specifications, and availability. 

Oppo A7 Pro Max Overview

Battery and Camera 

Most budget smartphones still come with around a 5,000mAh battery, which has become the standard in this category. However, some newer affordable phones are starting to move beyond this, with devices like the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G and Redmi 15C offering larger 6,000mAh batteries for users who want longer endurance. And now the OPPO A7 Pro Max takes this a step further with its massive 10,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what we usually see on smartphones in this segment. It also supports 80W fast charging, helping reduce the charging time despite the phone's huge battery capacity.

For optics, this phone opts for the 50MP main sensor with OIS, which is accompanied by a 2MP monochrome sensor on the back panel. However, OPPO has skipped the ultrawide sensor, which could be more useful than the monochrome sensor they have given in this phone. Besides, you will also get a 50MP front-facing camera that should deliver pretty good selfie shots. In case of videos, you would be able to record up to 1080p resoultion front both thefront and back cameras. 

Design and Display

In terms of design, the Oppo A7 Pro Max maintains a relatively compact profile with a thickness of around 8.47mm and a weight of approximately 226 grams despite packing a massive battery. The back panel of this phone has a relatively elongated horizontally placed camera island that houses the dual-lens setup and an LED Flash. 

Here, you can also choose between the “Orange” and “Black” variants with a matte finish or go with the “White” color option with a textured back. For durability, OPPO is also providing IP66/68/69/69K rating support.

Up front, the Oppo A7 Pro Max features a large 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate should offer smoother scrolling and animations, while the AMOLED panel could deliver better contrast and deeper blacks compared to traditional LCD screens.

Additionally, the screen also reaches up to 1800 nits peak brightness, which should be useful while watching HDR content on this phone. Along with this, the panel also supports 10-bit color. And gaming in this phone should also be pretty responsive thanks to its 320Hz touch sampling rate.

Under the hood, the Oppo A7 Pro Max uses the new entry-level Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset (4nm), which should handle everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and casual gaming with ease. The chip is also said to handle 90FPS games like BGMI smoothly in this phone. Meanwhile, other popular title performance would fully depend on the graphics settings you are playing on.

Memory-wise, it comes with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. On the software front, the OPPO A7 Pro Max runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, bringing the latest OPPO interface along with the usual customizations and features.
