Sony has officially announced its latest premium bridge camera, the RX10 V, expanding its RX10 series of all-in-one superzoom cameras. The new model brings improvements in autofocus, shooting speed, and video capabilities, while retaining the versatile fixed-lens design, making it suitable for wildlife and sports photographers. Starting with the design, the Sony RX10 V retains the familiar bridge camera form factor of the RX10 series while adopting a more refined Alpha-inspired body design. It features an improved grip and updated ergonomics, making it more comfortable to handle during long wildlife and sports photography sessions. Although the camera remains relatively large, its fixed superzoom design offers a more convenient setup than carrying a mirrorless camera with multiple telephoto lenses.
